My in-house controlled-substance prescribing program still exports prescription reports in ASAP 4.1, but Michigan now rejects anything that isn’t ASAP 5.0. The application runs on Windows and I believe we have the source code available, although I’ll need your help confirming that and identifying the language it was written in. What I need is straightforward: review the existing codebase, modify the export routine so it produces fully compliant ASAP 5.0 files, and make sure the new files pass the state’s online validation tool. If minor UI or configuration tweaks are required to let staff choose the new format, please include those as well.
