I need a small utility that connects to the Interactive Brokers API and places options trades for me end-to-end without any manual intervention once the order is submitted. The flow is simple: • I manually type the underlying ticker, the dollar amount I wish to allocate, and a trailing stop value (either as a fixed amount or a percentage). • The program calculates the correct number of contracts, selects the right call or put (I trade both), submits the order, and then manages the trailing stop automatically until exit. • No spreads are required right now, though it would be helpful if the code is modular enough that I could add them later.
