With over 7 years of hands-on experience in product development in Plastic design and reverse engineering Plastic design & DFM comes first: wall thickness must remain uniform, draft angles around 1–2 °, and ribs, bosses, or other reinforcements have to be placed so they strengthen the part without inviting sink marks. Once the geometry is sound, we can move on to prototyping and tooling details, but the manufacturability study drives every decision up front.
