Project Overview: I have a set of high-resolution, flat-bed scanned pages of hand-drawn vintage woodworking body plans (Mel Miller 1915–1922 Roadster plans). Each page contains raw cutting contours meant to be cut out of wood. My Primary Goal: The ultimate goal of this project is to get a 1:1 scale, full-sized PDF export of each layout sheet. I will be taking these digital PDFs to a commercial print shop to print them out onto large-format paper. I need to be able to lay these printed sheets directly onto my hardwood stock to trace the cutlines with 100% real-world accuracy. Because these are historical hand-drawn blueprints, the paper may have slight shrinkage, and the scans may have minor lens distortion.
