I need an experienced DevOps / Kubernetes engineer to take our legacy AWS production setup and turn it into a secure, fully-managed EKS environment. Security sits at the top of the agenda: every component you touch must emerge hardened, scanned and provably compliant with today’s best practices. We will begin by standing up a fresh EKS cluster via Terraform—covering VPC, node groups and IAM roles for service accounts—then layer in the core add-ons we rely on. Our current OpenResty ingress must be retired in favour of the Kubernetes Gateway API. That includes installing the controller, wiring up TLS and HTTPRoutes, and translating (or re-implementing) the Lua logic now embedded in OpenResty.
