I’m preparing a new CNC wood-cutting job and need the production-ready design drawn in AutoCAD. The piece will be routed on my CNC, so every line must translate cleanly into toolpaths—no stray vectors or open contours that could stall the machine. Here’s what I’m expecting: • A tidy, well-layered DWG (or DXF) that I can load directly into my CAM software. • Clear separation between cut-through paths, pockets, and any engraving details so I can assign feeds and speeds without guesswork. • Metric units with the origin set to the stock’s lower-left corner; please keep the file 1:1 scale.
