I have complete PDF plans for a four-storey building that I need redrawn in AutoCAD so I can move forward with renovation planning. The task is straightforward but must be precise: • Create an accurate DWG for each floor directly from the PDFs. • Retain every structural column or support exactly where it sits on the original plans and strip out all non-structural walls as requested. • Add clear, legible dimensions and measurements so the drawings are ready for the renovation team to reference. • Organise everything into sensible layers that follow industry best practice—please recommend a clean layer structure (e.g., separate layers for grids, columns, annotations, dimensions, etc.) that keeps the file light and easy to navigate.
