I have a working prototype that now needs a proper mechanical casing so it can move from the bench to real-world use. The enclosure will be 3D-printed in PLA on a standard FDM printer, so the model must respect the usual wall-thickness and overhang limits while still looking clean and professional. Core requirements • The design is strictly a mechanical casing (no electronics layout inside). • Integrate mounting holes for securing the unit to a frame. • Add ventilation slots that balance airflow and strength. • A combination of snap-fit and screw assembly will be designed, to aid with secure installations.
