Two of my grill-sensor cables lost their 3.5 mm tips when the plugs were yanked out. The conductors are still intact, so the job is a straightforward re-termination: remove the damaged ends, solder on brand-new 3.5 mm connectors, and add proper strain relief and heat-shrink so the leads can handle outdoor use. I don’t yet have the replacement plugs and would appreciate your guidance on the exact TRS/TRRS style and brand that will mate cleanly with the grill’s jack.
