TaxRise is seeking a curious and motivated Junior Software Developer to join its team in Irvine, California. This is an entry-level opportunity suited to recent graduates and early-career developers who have developed their skills through education, internships, research, personal projects, freelance work, or independent learning. The successful candidate will work on real production projects, including front-end website updates, troubleshooting, code maintenance, internal tools, testing, deployments, and progressively larger development initiatives. The role also involves using AI-assisted development tools to support coding, research, debugging, documentation, and problem-solving. This is a 100% on-site position requiring close collaboration with engineering, product, design, and business teams. Key Responsibilities Make front-end changes and improvements to websites and web applications. Write, modify, test, and maintain code within existing applications. Use Git and standard version-control practices to manage and collaborate on code. Troubleshoot bugs and technical issues and develop practical solutions.
