I'm looking for an experienced power electronics engineer to design, build and test a single-phase synchronous buck power stage using GaN FETs. This is a test vehicle, not a product. The purpose is to measure switching behaviour, losses and temperature at high switching frequency. The scope is deliberately short and well defined. The work Single-phase synchronous buck, up to 40 A, outputs at 12 V and 48 V from an 80–120 V bus Power devices: EPC2305, two in parallel per position Gate driver: onsemi NCP51820 The design must be based on EPC's EPC90143 development board, extending its schematic and layout to the paralleled devices.
