My crusher-manufacturing operation needs a straightforward way to get our technical data sheets into the system the moment they leave the shop floor. Every sheet ends up as an Excel file, and I want to remove the manual upload step entirely by capturing them with a smartphone camera and having them appear in our shared folder or database automatically. Here is the flow I’m envisioning: a worker points a phone at the printed sheet, hits one button, and the image is processed, converted (if needed), and stored as the original Excel file in the correct destination with a time stamp. Any basic cropping or perspective correction should happen in the background so the data is clean. We work in a dusty environment, so the solution needs to tolerate imperfect lighting and occasional smudges...
