Senior Gameplay Animator

Offer description

Insomniac Games is seeking a Senior Gameplay Animator for a 12-month temporary contract through staffing partner Yoh Enterprise Solutions. The role is remote in the United States and involves creating high-quality gameplay animation that meets the standards established by Lead Animators and Animation Directors. The Senior Gameplay Animator will work independently with minimal supervision while collaborating with design, programming, art, narrative, audio, character, rigging, and project management teams. The role supports the creative and narrative vision of the game while meeting technical and engine requirements. Create high-quality gameplay animations for characters in line with artistic direction and technical standards. Implement animations in the game engine in collaboration with Designers and Programmers. Use motion capture data and hand-keyed animation to create believable character performances. Develop advanced gameplay animation for hero traversal, combat, bosses, gameplay cameras, missions, and open-world experiences. Troubleshoot and independently resolve animation and implementation issues. Help maintain cohesive animation direction across the game and provide constructive feedback to the Animation team.
