I need a small utility that can take everyday office files or images and turn them into PDFs that stay fully editable afterwards. When I open the generated document in Acrobat or any mainstream editor I should be able to click straight into the text, adjust images, and keep the original layout intact—no flattened layers or scanned pages. Windows is my main environment, yet I’m happy with a cross-platform solution built in Python, Node.js, C#, or any language you feel gives the best balance of speed, reliability, and licensing freedom. A simple command-line interface is fine, but if a lightweight drag-and-drop window is easier for you to package, that works too.
