DTF-Ready Halftone Conversion

I have a PNG artwork that will be printed via DTF at a Medium (up to 30x30 cm) size. Right now the file uses soft gradients that won’t translate well to film, so the task is to strip out those gradients and rebuild the image as a clean, evenly-toned halftone that my DTF RIP can read without visible banding or colour steps. Key points • Source file: single-layer PNG. • Target: press-ready file with all gradients converted or removed so colours lay down in solid, printable dots. • Final dimensions must hold at the stated medium size without loss of edge clarity. • Acceptable deliverables: layered PSD or vector AI plus a flattened, transparent-background PNG/TIFF I can drop straight into the RIP.
