The design and layout for my 45 m² granny flat are already settled; what I now need are fully certified AutoCAD drawings that I can submit for planning permission (or claim an exemption) here in Ireland. The certification must cover structural integrity and clearly demonstrate compliance with Irish Building Regulations. Key structural details that must be shown and certified: • Foundation details • Load-bearing walls • Roof structure Alongside the construction set, include a concise site-layout sheet that positions the new unit on the plot with all required dimensions, setbacks and service connections.
