I need our database layer re-designed so that records load faster and more reliably through the web application. The focus is squarely on improving data accessibility: queries must return results quickly, and common user actions should no longer be blocked by heavy reads or locking issues. Work begins with an audit of the current schema, index usage, and query patterns. From there, produce an optimized structure, add or adjust indexing, and recommend any caching or sharding techniques that match the projected growth of our data set.
